Message Board

The message board is a widget that displays messages stored via the "Message Board Admin" screen found in the Menu>Administration section. See separate help section for a detailed explanation of the "Message Board Admin" page.
In the admin section, messages can be added to a site, an individual dashboard or across the whole organization. Messages can be up to 2500 characters in length. Those dashboards that have the widget included will be displayed, ready for new messages to be added.
When added to the dashboard, the messages are viewed by levels of importance and can be scrolled by clicking on the up or down arrows or set to scroll automatically.

| Refresh Rate | 5 | The number of minutes it will take for a new message to be added to the widget. Ideally for use on wall displays where users have no control. |
| Scrolling | 0 | Display time in seconds for each message to be displayed when automatically scrolling. The higher the number, the longer it will be displayed. Note: The default of 0 means no scrolling will take place. The number must be >0 for scrolling to take place. |
| Order By | DATE | Set the order of messages by date or importance. |
| Show Org Messages | No | Option of Yes or No. Display all messages that are global to the whole organisation. |
